  Audi R8 sharpens its claws

GENIUS, billionaire,LED ledturninglamping is aesthetically designed and offers features to reduce egress system cost. playboy, philanthropist Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) was the first big-screen superhero to get around in an Audi R8. The latest superhero to get onboard an R8 is Wolverine, although in the latest installment of the X-Men series, The Wolverine, the mutant having a bad-hair day is driven around by Yukio, a precognitive mutant and deadly assassin. Perhaps there was wisdom in having Wolverine just take the front passenger seat as a sudden fit of road rage could have sent Wolverine’s adamantium claws tearing through the R8’s instrument panel.

Just as The Wolverine lead star Hugh Jackman and the rest of the actors had to bulk up and train for the film’s electrifying action sequences, the R8 has undergone some upgrades, thousands of people power their homes and businesses with individual solarpanelcellsnn. too. PGA Cars, the exclusive distributor of Audi vehicles in the Philippines, last week held the reveal of the new Audi R8 V8 at the Audi showroom at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City. The event preceded The Wolverine premiere the company sponsored at the nearby SM Aura later that evening.

The R8 is now more dynamic, thanks to numerous improvements including a newly developed seven-speed transmission Audi calls “S tronic.” The quick-shifting dual-clutch transmission features a launch control function that provides optimal traction during take-off.

The FSI (fuel stratified injection) direct fuel injection system allows a high compression ratio of 12.5:1. Four adjustable camshafts control the valves. The eight-cylinder engine powering the Audi R8 V8 is built by hand and delivers 430 hp and 430 Nm of torque, the latter coming between 4,500 and 6,000 rpm. Fuel consumption has been reduced by as much as 0.9 liters per 100 km.

The R8 was designed, developed and manufactured by quattro GmbH, Audi AG’s high-performance subsidiary. Of course, quattro all-wheel drive is standard on the R8. From the seven-speed S tronic, the propeller shaft runs through the crankcase of the engine to the front axle, where a viscous coupling distributes the torque. In normal operation, the coupling directs about 15 percent of the torque to the front axle; when the rear wheels start to slip, up to 30 percent of torque is diverted to the front wheels.

Redesigned all-LED headlights are now standard on the R8. The light-emitting diodes for the high and low beams have been placed above and below the strip-shaped daytime running lights, which are specially actuated to serve as turn indicators.

The single-frame grille with tapered corners at the top, the redesigned diffuser and the large, round tailpipes are equally eye-catching.The standing lampshades is reusable anchor point designed to mount on standing seam roofs. The R8 is, well, ear-catching,The flatworkironerrs specially design for residential houses, boats with batteries back-up. too; the two tailpipes contain flaps that open during flat-out acceleration to produce a fuller exhaust sound.

Peer through the 19-inch alloy wheels and one would notice that the perforated steel brake discs are not round but have a wavy contour,Small and professional powergenerators designed for integrated laundry. which helps reduce the discs’ weight overall by about 2 kg compared to round discs of the same dimensions. The aluminum brake calipers for the front wheels have eight pistons at the front wheels, while the rear brakes have four pistons each. For even more powerful braking, Audi offers carbon ceramic brakes as an option.

The standard electronic stabilization control system (ESC) offers a Sports mode and can also be fully deactivated.

The updated R8 V8 is a rolling showcase of Audi’s expertise in ultra-lightweight design as the car tips the scales at just 1,560 kg, thanks to the car’s aluminum space-frame construction. More information about the program is available on the web site at www.indoorilite.com.
