igh reliability and high performance new series of film coated patch resistors.

Recently Vishay Intertechnology, Inc, we announce the launch of a new series of thin film encapsulated SMD resistance, PFRR, which is approved by ESCC-4001/023 and achieves the failure rate of R level. PFRR resistance is the first TCR device with a tolerance of 0.05%, which is low to 10ppm/ degrees.

The Vishay Sfernice resistor is specially designed for military, spaceflight and medical applications demanding high reliability for performance, and the load life stability rate is 0.25% at 8000 hours with rated power at 70. The reliability of the device is ensured by 100% screening and extensive environmental drawing tests, and through screening and testing, the device reaches the R level failure rate level (every 1000 hours and 0.01%).

The device provides 4 shapes and sizes, and the conduction resistance varies from 100 to 3.01M Omega, and is optimized for low noise applications such as precision measurement of loop voltage, blood pressure, oxygen content, voltage comparator, and satellite, missile, submarine, spacecraft, blood pump and blood monitoring and detection equipment.

The PFRR resistor uses tin lead end connection, and the nickel barrier below the joint enables the device to work at a temperature of up to +155 C, and the alumina substrate makes the power of the device at 70 degrees centigrade to 0.50W. The device has low noise less than +35dB, and the voltage coefficient is less than 0.01ppm/V. The resistance is wrapped in waffle or tape, which is in line with the halogen free specification of IEC 61249-2-21.
